I was reading an article yesterday on the best US cities to get rich. In that article, I noticed that many Texan cities made it to the top of the list.
I told my husband about it. For a couple of years now, we have been considering about moving from California to a cheaper state because our two kids are growing up and our expenses are mounting too.
I phoned a common friend of ours who works at a hospital in Dallas. She told me that the quickest way to settle in her city is to get myself a medical course. I felt disappointed at first because I thought she meant that I study nursing or medicine. And then suddenly I became excited when she told me about Dallas medical assistant courses that are offered in many schools in her area.
She recommended me to Sanford Brown in Dallas. After reading the school’s website, I realized that I could be a perfect medical assistant. And the best thing is that I can finish the course in a few months so I won’t have to spend thousands and thousands of dollars for a nursing or medicine course.
According to our friend, the hospital where she is currently working gives special attention to graduates of this school.
I may not get rich too soon when I move to Texas but I guess it would be the best place to raise my kids too.
