Graphic Design Program Options

A friend of mine who has a degree in graphic design surprised me the other day when he shared information about the difficult time that he had in choosing a school. I had assumed that every Graphic Design Program was more or less the same. Boy, was I wrong!

He pointed out that even choosing which kind of school to attend had been hard. Some of the options he considered included the following:
  • Collins graphic design school. This is a school with a variety of different art degree programs including graphic design, game design, and visual arts.
  • State universities. Many state universities offer degrees in graphic design and related areas of business art.
  • Gibbs College Melville. This is a school that would offer a quick graphic design degree at a low cost.

In the end, he ended up choosing the most affordable school in the city where he lives. He figured that his goal was to get a degree in order to get a job and he could do that almost anywhere. But it was definitely a decision that took more consideration than I initially gave him credit for and he wanted to make sure that I knew it!

Lol... that's certainly not how I went about searching for my university. For me, location matters, I wanted some place which is convenient, so only university in the city centre.

Next, I go for university which has in the list of top 100 universities in USA.

This really narrow my search to less than 5 universities, lastly the cost factor.

Bak! I found I my university! I hope this will help you too.
